Kira and Mark Zabrowski are the founders, managing partners, and operators of Much Ado About Pizza in Pleasanton, California, renowned for their slow-fermented sourdough crusts and seasonal toppings. The pizzeria has received accolades such as being named one of Yelp’s Top 100 US restaurants in 2024, taking Second Place in the nation for their Traditional pizza sauce at the LA Pizza Challenge 2024,ranked among the top 5 pizzerias in the Bay Area by Diablo magazine in 2023, as well as listed in PMQ magazine's top 20 pizzerias to watch in 2024. Kira, with a background in Theatre and teaching Literature, inspired the pizzeria's charming 'Shakespearean' theme, while Mark, with a Marketing degree and extensive experience in sales management and education, contributes his passion for pizza craftsmanship and community engagement. On the weekends, they love working with their children, Mark and Zoe at the shop. Both are active members of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and participate in various community and pizza-related initiatives, showcasing their dedication to culinary excellence and community involvement at Much Ado.
